UNDERWATER HOCKEY

Underwater hockey is an exciting team sport played in a swimming pool. Using a stick, players push a puck along the bottom of the pool to try to score in the opponent’s goal. It requires strategy, endurance and good team spirit.

Underwater hockey is a fast-paced, fun and original sport, which makes it very attractive to players of all ages. Both recreational players and athletes practise the sport.

This sport is practised at CMAS Belgium, within two national leagues, Lifras and NELOS. Training sessions and competitions are offered, helping to develop this discipline.

CMAS Belgium sets the rules, trains referees and promotes international participation. Thanks to its cooperation with Lifras and NELOS, Belgium is well represented in European and world competitions.
